I looked through my old diary today….I occasionally still write in it, but I decided to go back and find the very first page where I had written about McFly. All I said then was that they were my favorite band at the time and that they were awesome. I honestly wish I would have written more looking back at it now. This page is so special to me because I was only 13 years old when I wrote it…. I’m 19 now. Your teenage years are the hardest. Mine were at least. Your body goes through all this stuff. You lose friends you grew up with. Your hormones are crazy. You fall in and out of love easily. And you think everything and everyone is out to get you. But when everything was crashing down around me, I always knew I had someone that could keep me on my feet…. and that was McFly. They have always been there for me. Their music is what I turn to, to just get away from the world for a while. And the boys themselves, I could go on and on about how amazingly talented, special, wonderful, funny, & weird they are, but I could sit here and write for days on that. I get picked on a lot about my love for them, but I don’t care. No matter what the future has in store for me or these boys…they will forever be apart of me. I will forever and always be a Galaxy Defender.
